Strandhill Beach Sunset

On the same day I shot sunrise at Rosses Point, I added a sunset in Strandhill to give the clients a few more choices. Again, whatever the conditions delivered, I was pressing the shutter anyway. It was windier than I like to shoot in, but I set up the tripod on the edge of the dunes anyway, and found a composition I liked. I quickly shot this frame before all light practically disappeared from the scene. I’ll definitely revisit this spot on an evening when there might be some epic after glow in the sky or clouds!

I shot this image at 45 seconds at F11 ISO 100 with a Lee 0.6 ND grad filter and Little Stopper.
